In February I received an email from Sara saying together with her fiance they were travelling to Christchurch in March to spend time with relatives. It would only be for 3 days and I was asked if I could marry them at some stage during that time.
They said a simple wedding in Hagley Park by the Largest Redwood Trees with just 10 people in a very informal way would be perfect. I knew I could deliver and we swung into action to make it happen.
When I was told to meet them at the large Eucalyptus tree - I was concerned as I had no idea where to find that. As it turns out I was told it was in the Botanic Gardens and that didn't help. We hatched a plan I would meet Alan and guests had the bridge. I was waiting on one side of the bridge and the others were on the other side of the bridge.
Everyone found the spot, we delivered the ceremony at the agreed location - at the large Eucalyptus tree and it was everything it was meant to be. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Gardner may you have a long and blessed life together as husband and wife.
