Julie - The Civil Union Celebrant

I love being a Civil Union Celebrant and I look forward to the next opportunity to share in a Civil Union Ceremony.

I have been a Marriage Celebrant since 1999 and love helping couples make their special day a day they treasure and my goal is to make it as stress free as possible. I value honesty, integrity, authenticity, strength, intelligence, imagination, understanding and courage and operate on the belief anything is possible!

As a Civil Union Celebrant I look forward to providing the same quality of service for same gender couples and anyone else seeking a Civil Union Ceremony.

I am a positive, happy, open and outgoing individual who endeavours to make you the couple the center of attention while I perform the legal responsibilities on the day of your ceremony. When all is said and done it is your ceremony and I aim to deliver what you want in the way you want. I have no prejudices and I’m sure you will feel comfortable with my honest and open-minded approach.

I welcome couples from Canterbury and those living overseas that wish to formally recognise their relationship through our Civil Union Ceremony by a Civil Union Celebrant.

I look forward to having the opportunity of working with you to perform a civil union ceremony for you and your partner with your family and friends.

Hi Julie,
It is so hard to say in words our deep felt appreciation for your contribution to our civil union.  You were so accepting and at times almost gleeful for us which is something that is so rare in life today.

We both felt that you were on the journey with us and that we were not alone.  No big over the top "we will do this and you will do that" we must confess we were a bit concerned as we thought "is she ever going to remember what's meant to happen"? Oh we were so wrong.  You had it pegged to the very second and the way in which you conducted the service was just so reassuring.

You have the ability to relax people and we felt that you also became part of our lives.  This was even further confirmed upon seeing you at another service where you were just terrific but also remembered us both and shared time with us, we didn't feel like just another number in your busy life, gone and forgotten.  Do you know how much that means to someone?  We suspect not and think that that is just you, a warm caring involved person. Both Maria & I would like to take this opportunity to say a very big thank you for making our special day so perfect. Trying to organize our wedding from the UK was very daunting and  who to have to marry us was confusing.  But as soon as we saw your smiling face on your web page we knew you were the one.

After a few emails you were able to lay all our fears to rest and even organized all the paper work we needed.

The ceremony was just what we had pictured and your husband David did a wonderful job of the videoing.
