Lynn referenced the book by Gary Chapman, "5 Love Languages". I am guessing Tanya Thorogood who was also referenced added the 6th Love Language.
I even found on my search for the book, a quiz. By taking the quiz as an individual you can work out your own love language. Then if you don't know what your child's love language is, you can work that out. The advantage of knowing your own love language and that of your child and partner is you can then ensure you feed there "love" need.
Here is the website with quiz for you to have a go.

So what are the six languages?
Words of of encouragement.
Quality time.
Physical touch.
Acts of service
Gift giving.
The 6th is what gifted children have and need - The sharing of knowledge. You will know a gifted child because whatever there passion they will want to tell you everything about that passion.
I asked my husband after the talk, what was my language of love.
He replied "You are complex."
"So what is my language of love?"
"You are a lot of them".
Yes indeed - I give words of encouragement so have the expectation that I will get it as well. I love hugs and physical touch. I give gifts and am always doing acts of service.
So what is your love language?
Do you know your partners love language?
Do you know your childs?
I encourage you,if you answerned no, take the quiz.
