The ceremony location on the huge lawn in front of the hedge; the lounging area where there would be drinks and canapes; the pool that looked so inviting, which I believe was off limits; the marquee close to the house all decorated beautifully; everything was sorted; the string quartet playing beautiful music; it was the perfect setting.
I did something I had never done before and just said to the assembled family has anyone got a credit card that I can use to register $26.50 off for a marriage certificate. Some lovely aunt it might have been, said yes, and came and did the biz.
Emma the photographer was inconspicuous in the way she operates, amazing really, she just seems to capture what she needs without any fuss.
Beautiful bride; good spirited groom and support crew; short ceremony; Mums signed the marriage documents; well-known guest present; thank goodness for the shade of the hedge; result: happily married and everyone happy.
And the title of the blog "The all important kiss?" At the rehearsal a couple of days before the wedding we had James rolling on the grass and the wedding party laughing. It all came together on the day.
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Mulder may you have a long and happy life together.

Sorry I can't give credit to anyone else other than Shaun and Jo (auntie and uncle) for providing the dream wedding location. It rocked!
