I was delighted to be asked by friends from my Outward Bounders day's to be their Celebrant. So on a perfect day we met at Frensham Gardens on the Old Tai Tapu Road for a short and sweet ceremony.
It was a special ceremony - they had waited 17 years to marry.
Congratulations Phil and Nicole for getting married on such a special day.
The gardens were the perfect location for Jayde to take photos of this happy couple.
Nicole's nieces were the flower girls and they looked gorgeous in the outfits that Nicole and friend Jo had found on their travels. Christchurch is a small world because my daughter and Nicole's newphew were in the same class at Intermediate.
Nicole is a talented woman providing hot tasty nuts and cheese biscuits to snack on with drinks while they had photos taken. As I departed for home the guests made their way to the Bicycle Thief for dinner. This was a true relaxed and happy wedding.
The way it is meant to be.
My friend Amanda who I have had a long association with was there as a guest. It was great catching up on her and her many achievements.
Lets rock on to the next Outward Bounders wedding.
Congratulations Phil and Nicole - have a long and happy married life.
