This was one of those weddings that make you feel good.
Why? Because it is the blending of two families.
It is set in a location that was perfect for a lovely day in Christchurch.
Where were we? Ferrymead Heritage Park.
Yes it really was the perfect location in front of the early settlers hut.
As I shared with the guests – “Just like the new migrants that came hundreds of years ago to start a new life in New Zealand. Jeff and Julia’s journey to this point has taken time” – but here we are uniting them and their children as a family.
Garry and Karyn Walls were present for the photos and music (Yes a DJ and Photographer all in one). The photos here are my photos when I arrived and can’t wait to see Garry’s photos the true professional. The way he made the photos of groups and the wedding party come together was precision.
The guests who all arrived on the tram were invited to retrieve their cars with a tram ride and at that point of left and very thankful that I got to be a part of this special celebration of love.
I had talked with a number of guests. You can always tell how special the couple are by the conversations with the guests. It’s not that the conversations are about the couple, but more about the relationships with the couple and their family that they enjoy.
Thanks Jeff and Julia – a gorgeous family and I was delighted that I was a part of your special day.
Wishing you a wonderful life together as a special blended family. You are an awesome family - Jeff, Julia, Kate, Rachel, Emma and Toby.
