On the 7th of January 2017 I had the absolute delight of sharing the wedding day of Jenny and Craig. I have Jenny's permission to share this with you - her recommendations.
This magical photos was taken by JP Photgraphy and he was great to work with. I was unsure what the smokebomb would be like and now I know. a great result.
This is what Jenny said about her Photographer: We chose JP Photography as our photographer and he did an incredible job. Our smokebomb photo was "the bomb" (excuse the pun 😂) Johnny was easy to talk to and made us all feel relaxed in front of the camera. We think he's incredibly talented at what he does and he doesnt charge a small fortune. Love you Johnny!
This is what Jenny said about the Venue: Langdales Winery is amazing. The food was so good, Lauren and Gabi were so helpful and easygoing. I couldn't fault a single thing and I think they are very reasonably priced too. We did a buffet dinner with byo wine and a bar tab for beer. Gabi has a wonderful energy about him and this is what made us choose Langdales.
Celebrant: We chose Julie Lassen for her experience and her wonderful reviews and we were not disappointed. She is very organised and did a great job directing everybody to where they needed to be on the day. She is a very busy lady so it is a good idea to book her well in advance!
I was the Celebrant for Chrystal when she got married at Millwood a few years ago. Here is the review by Jenny. Makeup: I chose Chrystal O'Brien Make-up Artist for my big day. I love the techniques she uses and she is incredibly talented at what she does. I wish she could come to my house every morning and make me feel like a million dollars! (I think I need Chrystal in my house as well every wedding day!)
Hair: I picked Grace May Hair Artistry for my hair and my bridesmaids hair. She thoroughly astounded me with her skills. I didnt even realise half the stuff she did with my hair could even be done! Alicia is lovely and very much a perfectionist in her work. 10/10 for her !
DJ: We picked Shindigs(Luke Valentine) for our wedding and thought he was just the best! He played all my Tina Turner requests without rolling his eyes once 😂 and he brought a big screen with him so he could play music videos and also a stream of the dance floor. Any song he can download on the spot if he doesn't have it available at the time.
Flowers: Aromaunga Baxters Flowers have stunning bouquets. I had no idea what I wanted apart from a couple of pics from pinterest, but the girls there did a stellar job and I loved all my arrangements so much. They are much cheaper and just as nice as the shop in the tannery (in my humble opinion). All the flowers are grown on site and I just wanted to hug the lovely man that delivered them.
Hire: I chose Acropolis Wedding Hire for all my extra bits and pieces such as lighting and blackboard signs. Paula has just taken over from the previous lady and she was lovely. I had no problems with them at all and they did a stunning job setting up on the day.
Wedding Car: My husband chose Hannington Classics Bridal cars for the big day and we were amazed. Our driver was a lovely friendly man and the Jaguar was beautiful.
Cake: Robyn Struthers made our beautiful cake for us. She is a friend of the family but you might be able to persuade her to make a cake for you ! Our cake was a delicious three tier jam and butter cream cake with each tier a different flavour. Our cake toppers were from Etsy.
Suits: The boys suits were hired from Sergios. I didn't have much to do with this side of things but my husband found them great to deal with and reasonably priced too !
Bridesmaids: I chose ASOS for the girls dresses and although we had some sizing issues, Asos were really good about returns and exchanges. I also bought my headpiece and bridal shoes from Asos.
