So this is for my brides. Yes those brides, I should say couples who choose me. "I am not a person who can’t let go." Lets change that! "I am a person that lets go!" I am always trying to clear the clutter from around our house. Clutter because it is things that have been used and are no longer needed.
For instance I have all the jars and tongs for a candy bar. So I have put them all together into a bin, the candy bar bin! So if any of my couples want to use the candy bar jars and tongs – they can book it in and collect it one week before the wedding. So you then only need to have some ribbon to put around the jars if you wish; have something to put in the sweet jars and of course little bags or the like for your guests to choose what they like to take. (No charge).
How did I come by it? I purchased them from a bride and used it for my brother’s big birthday party.
Then I have some picture frames that you can use in a number of ways for your own fun photo booth. You can hang the pictures off a tree with catgut and people can then be framed for the photos. At one wedding they just had people hold the frames and the camera on a tripod for someone to take the photos. So you might want to get hold of those props and maybe couples will gift me things for my prop box. And if the couples I am marrying want to use the frames they could again pick them up a week before the event. (No charge).
How did I come by the frames? I picked them up from recycling places and again used them for my brother’s big party. Job done.
I have some toys that I have in a big box and that is available for you to have for children to play with as the adult guests do other things. Might also accumulate from couple, those outdoor games, and when I do they will be available as an added bonus if they can help you. First in first served. (No charge).
How did I come by the toys? Had those for my brother’s big party – 80 adults and 14 children invited. Parents were impressed with what was available to keep the children entertained. Job done.
Then there is the white 6x3 easy-up gazebo that you can book in. This will need to be hired for your wedding. It is great and has 3 sides and is easy to go up and take down. (Charge: $100)
How did I come by the gazebo? I needed it for my nieces wedding and is something I would be able to use on an ongoing basis.
My niece also used my wishing well and you can pick up this lockable wishing well and dress it up with your own ribbons. ($20 charge – as it is scratched it needs a touch up of paint before the next couple use it.)
I have a couple of old cases and might pick up a couple more if they can be helpful.
I bring a PA system (no hands) with me now and this is available for the ceremony to ensure everyone hears. (No charge).
I also have another one that you could use for music and MC and speeches for later after I have gone. (Charge $100).
So this is added service for my couples.
I also invite you to join Julie’s Brides – Past and Present – so that is a page I just post things of interest and that might helpful that I see.
And there is the thank you gift that is for booking me.
Oh it feels good to be able to give and share.
(No obligation: But if you use something for free you might add something to my collection to help other brides).
