Saturday 3 September and I delivered a lovely wedding ceremony out at Lincoln
on a farm for Jenny and Scott. As soon as you arrived at the property you could
see that Jenny's parents had been working hard to prepare for this special day.
The spring flowers were out and the garden created the perfect atmosphere for
the guests to be seated on hay bales.
As we waited for the beautiful bridesmaid, Alice, and Jenny and her Dad to walk in, I
gave instructions to the assembled guests all seated on hay bales, as I have already stated.
I do love weddings where hay bales are used! It creates that amazing relaxed country feel to
what is obviously a country wedding. There were incidentally, lots of hay bales.
Enough hay bales for all the guests - 75 adults and 13 children.
I wasn't sure where to look when, Alice walked in with the super cute baby Elsie.
Everyone including Scott just melted. The stunning bride followed and we got them married.
The two Mums, Judy (Jenny's Mum) and Lyn (Scott's Mum) shared short readings
and everyone could hear thanks to Garry and his wife, photographer and DJ.
Kole, Scott's nephew and Godson has the responsibility of delivering the rings.
Of course there were horseshoes and then it was time for photos starting with the
big group shot. I do hope someone got Mr and Mrs Broomhall a drink.
I am sure the marquee reception and dance completed an amazing day.
Congratulation Mrs and Mrs Broomhall.
Thank you for allowing me to enjoy your special day.
